It does a great job of giving you that extra surface for a more solid grip. However, I would have loved it more if the gripping surface was textured not so smooth. A textured gripping surface would give you much more secure grip. Otherwise, it's a good product. I'm thinking of trying to 'stipple' the magazine adapter to see if I can make it more "grippy".
