As described, this is indeed a genuine Asian TA-1059 Nokia 8110 4G (China received the same variant as the rest of Asia).
Strangely, my unit had a slightly outdated (and modified) firmware version, at 16.00.17.00, which blocked OTA updates, and forced me to EDL flash the latest 17.00.17.01 version with instructions from the OpenGiraffes community (I was planning on flashing GerdaOS, so this was fine), so I have doubts about it being new, especially since the 8110 4G is an old model.

The black glass replacement wasn't an exactly proper fit, but it's still excellent for the price. Where else are you going to get a back made out of glass for less then $6? What else can you expect? Excelent seller.
