t s in great condition, not major rips, stains or general disrepair. The size, It s perfect for storing and carrying delicate and large brimmed hats. This is a primary concern of mine. I have many hats that are not easily packable for travel. Functional, it s hard cased and can hold multiple hats with ease without worrying about them being crushed or damaged. Slight vintage musty smell but that should be removable with a spritz of vodka for mold, and clay cat litter. Overall I love this hat case
