This is a well done repro, not vintage, as I think many of the seller’s items are. I am still happy with it since I suspected that when I purchased it. But, if you are looking for genuine vintage or antique items I would definitely contact the seller to inquire about details before purchasing. If you only care about a vintage/antique “look” I don’t think you would be disappointed as the craftsmanship is good and the details that are added to create the vintage appearance are above average.
