Disappointed to report that the item I ordered was not described in accuracy. The tea cup itself does have noticeable cracks in 3 places that can be seen and felt with my finger nail. Compared to the photos in the add, the cracks are much darker and stained with tea. This cup cannot be used for functional purposes as described. The plate also has a small chip on the back, but still can be used functionally.
