Good communication with seller. Seller notified us that when he went to ship the plate, he noticed it was damaged. He offered to cancel the order or he would send a second plate also damaged to make up for the situation. We chose to accept the two plates. They arrived safely packed, both damaged prior to shipping. It was kind of the seller to try to make up for the error in the listing. As a buyer, we appreciated his efforts. Now that we see the damage, we would not have bought the item.

Refund issued. BUT seller claimed 'excellent, no damage,' yet it arrived with wet glue—clear sign of attempted repair. For collectibles, details like this must be disclosed. He said 'it was glued at manufacture, not blown in one piece, so it's not damaged,' and even told me to buy glue to fix it myself. Now relisted as 'no damage' again. Very dishonest. Misleading sellers like this make buying collectibles risky.
