This wooden crate cargo load was tried in several of my Triang R.10 & Track Master open wagons. All Polyurethane bodied Triang R.10 wagons (made after 1956) accepted the cargo load perfectly, as did my 1949-1951 Trackmaster open wagons. However, due to slight imperceptible wagon body shrinkage, the cargo load proved to be slightly too wide for the Triang R.10 1952-1955 NE open wagons (with Mk.IIa & Mk.IIb couplings) with cellulose acetate bodies.
