They were packed well inside two boxes, which was good because shippng with Fedex damaged one corner of the box. The bongos are of decent value, and sound good. Take your time tuning them up to pitch as the skins are a bit loose on purpose. Gently stretch the skin so as not to create an uneven blister, which some might call "personality".
