When opened, the classic button arrangement and D-pad placement are designed especially for user comfort and ease. Those familiar circular A and B buttons sit right where your thumb can comfortably reach them. The adjustable screen boats a flexible range of 185 degrees, so you can easily angle the display to sit exactly where you need and want it. The Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP's easily rechargeable lithium-ion battery can provide 18 hours of play with the light off. On its brighter setting, the battery can stay strong for around 7-10 hours. You can enjoy the many sounds of your Game Boy games with a stereo speaker that sits right among the buttons. When you want to hear your game without it being obvious, you can use your headphones by plugging them into a stereophonic adapter. Simple jacks on the back of the Advance SP can supply a surprising amount of options. Along with an AC adapter, there's a port that can allow you to connect the Advance to the Nintendo GameCube.
