Item was first wrapped in packaging paper to avoid static electricity. Item was then fully wrapped in commercial quality bubble wrap. Item then placed inside heavy duty box fully surrounded by commercial corrugated packing paper. There was a minimum of two inches of padding on all sides. Item was only going from Washington to California. Purchased on Thursday and delivered three days later on Sunday. Perhaps it wasn't lucky that it arrived intact. (Item was also fully insured at my expense)
