Received my Charles Counts plate today. Other than the chip on the back of the plate, it was in great shape. I bought my first piece of Charles Counts pottery around 1976 at Piedmont Park Art Festival. The next year a friend and I (plus my toddler) met him for lunch at Agnes Scott College where he was teaching. We were able to see pieces fresh from the kiln—and bought more. A really lovely man.
