Bought a brand new Dell laptop, sealed in box from seller. While setting-up for use, the laptop crashed a few times. By contacting Dell for support, I learned that it regards an "exchange unit". Exchange units are described as "refurbished items, not new and may use a combination of used and new parts". The sellers' main reaction after communication was that the item is new and that I damaged it. Had to return item and recover money via claim procedure. Dishonest seller, stay away!
