The painting was safely delivered today. It's wonderfully vigorous with lots of positive brushstrokes. The frame is a little wonky, as you so honestly stated, but it doesn't show when hanging on the wall and anyway the majesty of the painting is what really matters. This picture is a magnificent tour-de-force and I wish I knew more about the artist. Thanks for taking such care with the packing and for sending so promptly, which is very much appreciated.
