Item was described as new, but there is a scratch in the flash coating on the outside of the right lens and a chip in the anti reflective coating on the inside of that lens. The box and case for the sunglasses seem shopworn. Was this a display sample? I don't know, but this item was not "new". The product is exactly as described and even if you zoom in on the pictures you can't see anything but a speck of dust. Now if they're defective, why do you refuse to return them? That answers everything.
