Seller notes: “This NW Coast Talking Stick comes from a First Nations tribe in Canada. It is unsigned and has only ... “This NW Coast Talking Stick comes from a First Nations tribe in Canada. It is unsigned and has only light wear from tribal use. I estimate this talking stick/staff was made about 40-50 years ago by a member of a First Nations tribe in Canada. The wood appears to be yellow cedar that has been stained and then a clear, top-coat of lacquer was added to protect it from repeated hand wear. As expected, it shows some very minor wear including light scratches, and small dents, chips, and scuffs. There are no apparent cracks. An overall beautiful item in very good to excellent condition that has great character and displays beautifully! A small contemporary stand is included. See photos, which were taken outside in the Pacific NW, for details. Thanks for looking and please see all 12 photos for details.”
