Wanted to keep door cards from being cut to keep original look. Tried vibe 4” speakers, no good, tried 4” harman kardons, not powerful enough and couldn’t handle what I needed. These fitted perfect and the sound is great and can handle what I’m putting to them, highly recommended

The original box I had was a sealed box but the original 12 inch speaker broke down and had to replace it a new speaker. The new speaker didn’t sound as deep bass as the old speaker, the reason was that the new speaker according specs needed a ported box hence the reason for buying this box. Now I hear the lows and the midrange of bass much better than in the old box. The new box is of fairly decent quality.
