Any additional customs or other import charges or tarifs levied are the buyer's responsibility. Returns for any reason are free of charge (we pay your return postage) but customs or import fees cannot be re-claimed and will not be refunded.
If you are purchasing from a country where customs charges could apply, when the lens arrives please keep all of the outer packaging until you are sure you want to keep the item. Returns to the UK from overseas can attract importation charges upon return if the original customs declaration on the outbound package is not shown to the UK authorities. Please keep the UK export customs declaration in case you wish to return. Returns without relevant customs documentation may be refused, or the additional customs charges paid by us upon reimporting your item to the UK may be passed on to you (receipts will be provided). To avoid paying UK customs charges, keep the customs label we supply when we export the lens to you.
The eBay managed returns service provides a service that goes beyond the minimum legal requirement, allowing you to return the item for any reason within a period of 60 days. If you wish to exercise your returns rights under UK law, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 allows return of supplied merchandise if the buyer changes their mind within 14 days of the day on which the item was delivered. Under these regulations, you have a period of 14 working days after the date of delivery within which you can cancel the contract (often referred to as the "cooling off" period) and get your money back, including the original postage and packing charges. The buyer is notified that charges incurred in returning the item are to be borne by the purchaser, not the vendor (i.e. you will need to pay return postage if claiming protections under UK law, but eBay managed returns allows us to pay these for you, which is a better deal :-) ).
