As explained earlier this product is made only to keep fries warm for short period of time. You can not left fries hours on this product. Also fires should be made fresh every time and should be consumed in short period of time. We have been selling this product for years and it is absolutely fine and it gives heat from top and bottom unlike some products which only gives heat from top
