It works fine on a Realistic TRC-432 and was a good price. My CB I just ordered is over 40 years old and it never had a microphone hanger. It was slightly difficult putting the screws in the pre drilled holes on my radio, so I'm assuming the screws are supposed to cut the holes bigger for a good fit. I never had to put a microphone hanger on a unit, but I know that now. Just pointing that out for anyone that's never added a hanger on their radio. Thank you
