About this product

Product Information

Featuring enough puns and monsters to make Famous Monsters of Filmland editor Forrest J. Ackerman blush, Decapattack puts you in the role of Chuck D. Head, a two-headed creature made from various body parts by Frank N. Stein. One head is on top of your shoulders where it should be, but the other is in your chest. You can throw one head (when you have one), and punch using the head in your chest.

Why use your heads for such destructive behavior? Because many of Dr. Stein's creations are out of control and have taken over an island that is made of body parts. Max D. Cap, who has separated all the parts of the island, has recruited the monsters and formed an army. You'll run, jump, swim and punch your way through man-eating plants, snarling werewolves, biting totem poles, ghoulish ghosts, walking skulls and other creepy creatures.

As you lurk your way through this game, you can find potions that will give you special powers, such as Swill, which surrounds you in a ball of protective light, Claxy, which makes you run faster and jump higher, and Freeiz, which freezes all enemies onscreen.

Decapattack features seven three-stage levels with names such as Armington, Abdomainland and Eyeland. To progress from one level to the next, you must find the treasure and defeat a boss, such as a giant toad or a mutated mole.
