Did not get a response from seller to my message asking for refund or to the photos of destroyed item. eBay told me that if the seller does not respond after several days, then eBay will give me a full refund. After several days I called eBay to report I never got a response from the seller, and thankfully eBay gave me a full refund. Only AFTER that did the seller send a message acknowledging refund.
