The fit and finish are poor. I don't really mind the finish, but these hoods are practically impossible to mount using the Mamiya 7 lens attachment points. Believe me as I spent 30+ minutes attempting to get either hood secured to a lens. I finally resorted to pushing them into place where they are secured by friction rather than the mounting ears.
I thought that these hoods would be an acceptable substitute for the terribly expensive Mamiya OEM hoods; they're not!

Hello, I'm sorry you're not happy with the hoods - I tend to make them on the tighter side to account for continued use with the friction-fit. Also, they need to be fitted with the biggest 'lug' facing downwards so the window is in the correct position. Please get in touch and we'll sort something out! Kind regards, Matt.
