OMG this stuff is potent use with caution. The effects will be felt immediately. Not kidding it does have an effect in the human membrane I tried adding maybe two drops in a one fluid ounce bottle of perfume that I made, and it had the effects of romantic love feeling also I don’t know about depressive state, but it does keep you calm and also giggly whatever type of mood you’re in it will definitely enhance that.
