The plants were described as plug plants. They are large bareroot plants that have been bent to fit into the box and posted with nothing to keep their roots damp. They need to be planted out immediately. They have wilted and it remains to be seen how they will do. There was a disgusting black tarry deposit on the box when they arrived. I don't know whether Yodel were responsible or the seller, but it hasn't helped matters.

very strong plants sent as replacements as you know. roots are wrapped as you can see in moist sawdust for transport. tarry deposit should be attributed to yodel, not myself. ten plants sent instead of 6, each of which i will sell similar for in autumn for £4 each. i am sorry you had to plant them. you sent me several messages in request.
