Come potete vedere dalle foto alcuni dei volumi sono molto rovinati, presentano lacerazioni, rilegature frantumate, dorsi mancanti, macchie e segni del tempo in copertina e in alcuni volumi anche su pagine interne. Le pagine interne nel complesso sono quelle che si sono preservate meglio, rimanendo leggibili e senza particolari difetti. Mentre invece i dorsi di alcuni volumi, come potete vedere sono in frantumi e tendono a perdere pezzi.
