While Petit financed the publishing, the printer was, probably Francois Regnault, according to Moreau. The beloved, late medieval saint whose name was originally Antonius but, whose fellow citizens felt such affection for him that they, insisted on the cozy diminuitive of his name. He became, archbishop of Florence in 1446 where his home was known as a, hostel for the poor and where he was renowned for his charity, and aid, especially during the plague of 1448 and the, earthquake of 1453. The Summa confessionum, first published in, 1472, was one of his great works
