The beautiful leather boards, though worn, have fabulous patina and feel. All three page edges are gold gilt, though the gilding is soiled. Internal pages do have some minor to moderate toning and foxing throughout. Binding is very good, which is unusual with small bibles from this era. You can see the inscription from most likely the original owner, on the endpaper as well as some pencil scribbling (see photos). A GEM OF A BIBLE HERE!”
