Vintage clothing can often have a musty smell, we advise items are either laundered or aired before use. The fur is VERY coarse and rough to touch, an abundance of shiny longer guard hairs and a more dense undercoat. There is quite a lot of wear to the sleeves, which are particularly rough. This fur is not dramatically shedding to touch, but this will occur naturally over time with real fur garments. Some signs of balding around the collar lapels, cuffs, hem etc. No splits to the pelt. The shiny guard hairs would suggest this is from a species of animal typically found in water - this is not musquash fur. Please inspect the images carefully.”
