The viola is beautiful and I am very happy. I will update this review once I have taken the viola to a luthier and I have played it. The bridge needs to be set and the sound post has come loose in transit (this is just bad luck). A luthier has quoted £40 to do these. The case was much nicer than I expected too.

I now have the viola back from the luthier. As well as the bridge and the soundpost, I had new Helicore strings put on it too. It's a lovely viola that suitable for up to ABRSM grade 5/6 according to the staff in the luthier's shop. I can recommend this seller.

I like to see more polished varnish. Workmanship is quite good. Tone is ordinary, I was expecting better and richer tone. For the price and the packing, it is a good value.
