I have tried to purchase a clear Sheaffer school fountain pen before, unsuccessfully. The parts did not fit well, one nib was bad, the cap wouldn't post. Couldn't even make one working pen from the parts of two pens.
Then I found this seller. In the purchase notes, I specified that I wanted a working pen that capped and posted (I had experience now). It promptly arrived and I am enjoying it. It was one of the cleanest vintage pen I have received, and as described. 10/10.
