I really want to rate this higher, but the playability (and lack of a proper shoulder strap) fall short of my expectations for a tamani. For the price, however, one could hardly do better. It functions, just not as well as talking drums I've used from Senegal or Nigeria. I took a risk on whether such a low price could still net me a professional instrument, that's on me.
