Bound in the publisher's heavily decorated green and gilt bevelled boards, some wear to the spine ends and corners, a little bumping to the board edges. Block edges gilt. Previous owner's name and date to the fep (1860), yellow endpapers. Block sound, though with scattered foxing and age toning. 104pp. Illustrated with twenty one designs by Birket Foster, J.Wolf and John Gilbert and engraved by the Brothers Dalziel. Bound by Bone and Son (small sticker to the rear pastedown). Good overall, no jacket issued.”
