The probe arrived with flat batteries so I changed them and re-calibrated the probe. Unfortunately, the probe shaft that goes into the machine tool has a larger diameter at one end by 0.1mm which means the probe flops around in the tool holder. Because of this, the ball swings one way or another by about 0.29mm. That’s 29 times less accurate than the stated 0.01mm I can get better alignment by eye than that so this tool is junk.
