Volume 1 reprinted approximately two years of the legendary comic strip Pogo (1949-1973) - including both Sundays and Dailies. Volume 2 features all the strips from 1951 and 1952. This volume reprints all the Sunday pages in full colour. Blending nonsense, poetry, political and social satire, Pogo is an essential contribution to American intellectual comics., In November of 2011, Fantagraphics released the first volume of its much-anticipated, long-promised series reprinting in its entirety the syndicated run of Walt Kelly's classic newspaper strip, Pogo. Pogo: Through the Wild Blue Wonder immediately became the company's best-selling book of the last five years.
