What I needed. It was obvious from the pictures that this had some rust on it and had been improperly sharpened, and it arrived as represented. I went over the entire hatchet with a wire wheel, cleaned the rust off, reground the blade edge and honed it sharp. Then brought it up to my kitchen and used my knife sharpener to put a near razor edge on it. Took into my home workshop and drilled out a lanyard hole, ran a paracord lanyard, and hung it up to paint a flat gray. Looks good! Great seller!
