I have not used any other cold shoe light meter but this one seems to work very well. I put it on a Nicca 3S and Nikon F. I was a bit worried about using it with a waist level finder with the Nikon F but it mounts well away from the waist level finder! I wish that the ISO setting of the meter was a bit more stiff but I have not come across major issues so far.
