So far I haven't experienced the lag, or drop in signal from the furthest smart tv in the house. The only reason for needing such an item, and I'll update the review in a few weeks after it adapted to " my usage". Shipping was longer than expected, 4* as a result. Setup was easier than I thought it would be. For those needing a pod, be sure to follow the app instructions.
