Following the precedent set by past volumes in this long-running series of Australian compilation albums, Wild, Vol. 8 features an array of popular dance music from 2001. Most of the songs are featured here in concise radio edits so that as many songs can be included on the double-disc set as possible. Some of the highlights include the Original Radio Edit of ATB's "9PM (Till I Come)," the Airplay Edit of the Vengaboys' "We Like to Party!
