Fenning, Daniel. Leather bound book of Arithmetic. Lacks the title page, though the author's name and date of 1767 are in the preface, with a partial title on the front endpaper in pencil, with the remaining title taken from the copy at the British Library. Full leather binding, with gilt lining to the outer edges, with gilt lined banding to the spine. Boards worn, with bumping to the board corners, chipping to the spine ends. Endpapers replaced at some point. Book commences at the dedication page. The block is generally in good order, with age toning, as expected, some spotting or marks here and there. Prev owner's name to the inner cover (David Singmaster (1928-2023) The American-British mathematician who was emeritus professor of mathematics at London South Bank University). Generally in good condition for a 250+ year old book.”
