I bought variable and filters like this one in the past and all of them with the same problem, there's an ugly "X" in the middle when adjusting the nd to higher numbers, even at about nd 34 or something like that. This filter is not the exception. Maybe I'll have to buy a more expensive one next time. For now I'm buying fixed nd filters. Better safe than sorry.
