Le pale dell'elica sono sottodimensionate, per questo motivo funziona solo con vento abbastanza sostenuto; pur lubrificando per quanto possibile le parti meccaniche di rotazione gli attriti sono sempre eccessivi e riducono il movimento. Il sostegno, un pezzo di ramoscello curvo è decisamente fuori luogo, preferibile un pezzo di legno lavorato e in asse col perno in metallo. Dato l'elevato prezzo l'articolo non è consigliato.
