    This adaptor is for using Contax RF lenses on an LTM body, and it will mount on the Leica M, with another adaptor. It does not couple properly to the Leica rangefinder, nor does it have a distance scale, so the only way to get precise focus is to use Live View on a digital Leica M. It makes infinity focus, but not at the infinity stop. I am now able to use my Contax, Nikon S, and Russian RF lenses, both internal and external mounts on my digital M. No light leaks. Good enough, for the price.

    If you want to use it to adapt a Contax RF lens to a mirrorless camera this is a good start. Focus and rangefinder coupling are not good enough for accurate rangefinder use.
