One of the 2 items was very clearly and visibly rusted solid and useless. I messaged the vendor and received a (I think rather patronizing) response saying that 40 year old items are likely to be rusted and that they do not check the condition of such stuff before dispatch; my point was that this item was so visibly unserviceable that it was totally obvious. I could have returned both items but, as I only needed one, I elected to keep both and use the good one. Buyer beware.
