I would not recommend that anyone buy this item. It is poorly made and actually failed the first time I tried to use it. Fortunately it was on the ground, if it would have failed in the air it would have cost the entire airplane.
The connection between the two connectors was probably the worst solder joint I have ever seen.
I did not request a replacement because this item could not be trusted to function for any length of time.
It should be rated as zero stars but that was not an option
