Synopsis
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION "Idiot" is the fifth novel by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. The novel was first published in the journal "Russian Herald" from January 1868 to February 1869. It is one of the most beloved works of the writer who most fully expressed both the moral and philosophical position of Dostoevsky and his artistic principles in the 1860s. The novel "Idiot" became a realization of the old creative ideas of Dostoevsky, his main character - Prince Lev Nikolayevich Myshkin, according to the author's judgment, is "a truly wonderful personality", he is the embodiment of goodness and Christian morality. And precisely because of his disinterestedness, kindness and honesty, the extraordinary love for people in the world of money and hypocrisy, the environs call Myshkin an "idiot"., Los mejores libros jam s escritos Quer a hablar a menudo, pero, la verdad, no sab a qu decir. - e***u (283)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThe listing was for a hardcover version of this book; however, I received a paperback. The Seller replied quickly to my question about this issue and issued a full refund - and let me keep the book. So, a diligent Seller for sure - and well packaged and reasonable timing on shipping. Thank you for the refund, and as you suggested, I'll likely donate this volume and seek the hardcover.
- e***n (392)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseGreat transaction, exactly as described, packed well, and promptly shipped on August 6th. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. However I had a slight issues with the item(could have been damaged by carrier not sure) but seller made good with a full refund immediately after I contacted them about the issue. I would do business again based on the excellent customer service and would highly recommend seller.
