I bought 4 different versions of normal engine tachs, none of which worked, before hearing of this purpose-made Japanese small-engine tach. It works perfectly. Tach numbers read true on small engines and for each separate spark plug cable on multi-cylinder snowmobiles and outboard motors. No cross interference. Wish I'd found this tach years earlier.
