This -- actually, it was 'these' because I bought more than one -- was exactly as described and pictured. My kittens played with the balls for a while, but they didn't really get into scratching on the sisal covering as much as I hoped they would. I suspect another day they might show more interest, and other cats might like them better than mine did.
