The jacket was in good repair of which I'm very grateful, however it smelled strongly of smoke of some kind. I'm attempting to get the smell out using my ionizer, but not certain it will work on leather. This jacket was a gift to replace the one my 85-yr old father, who has Parkinsons and Alzheimers, lost to an accident when he fell, which soaked his identical jacket in blood from a head wound. It was his favorite jacket. Oh, I do hope this smell comes out. 😢
