Trust in the ebay compatibility chart NOT other reviewers. On the 2002 model the geometry is way off, carburetor would be at too much of an angle to seal and flow straight even if the boot was the right diameter. Would also need to reshape the engine side of intake to match the opening of the reed block. Would take a lot of work to force it to fit to potentially worry about air leaks and reduced performance.
