The shoes have straps, which, given the softness of the leather, would keep the shoe safely in place when strapped across the heal. The straps do not stay up and when tightened, they pop off, as the straps snap onto the shoe. The seller's description does share about the snaps.
The seller would accept return only if I paid a total of $29, shipping both ways, not a tenable solution, the shoe's cost, with shipping having been 37. Care for the customer did not appear. This is my experience.
